Multiplication times tables are the most critical factors of maths and everybody has to learn them. Children start to learn them as soon as they begin school. How well your children learn the times tables has a very direct effect on how they progress in maths and other subjects at school.

If getting the right result is seen or feels like too much effort, kids will just stop doing it and switch off. At this point, learning times tables becomes more and more difficult and your child will lose confidence in their ability to know them.

Schools have no choice but to follow a set cirriculum, and teachers use the same way of teaching as in the past, school lessons remain unchanged .

The way to build confidence in maths is to create a feeling of confidence and ability right from the start. With maths, you are either wrong or right – it is very black or white and no in between for kids, and the greater correct answers, the more confident they become, making this ideal for building confidence.

Now think about your children being able to recall the times tables instantly – without having to think about the answer – especially if they have used a different method to learn them both quickly and accurately – an immediate increase of confidence, and a new belief that maths is easy for them. Confident children are happy children. Happy children enjoy learning far more.
